Now open 7 days a week 8.30-5pm. Please note--we do not take bookings
After carrying out numerous risk assessments, we have decided that it is not safe to open up inside. Our beautiful, old building, only has one one entrance and a narrow corridor, which were identified as 'pinch points' where it is physically impossible to social distance. There are numerous pathways that the staff need to access the kitchen and counter and again, mixed with the access needed for the door, social distancing would become impossible. It is also not a particularly well ventilated building and it is not possible to have all the windows open due to the wind and location of some of the windows.
Please enter through the small gate, next to the main gates, following the white footsteps. You will find a point to queue and wait to be seated. Hand sanitiser will be available here.
Please respect the social distance guidance during your visit.
A member of staff will greet you, take your details for the Test and Trace system, and show you to a table. We are required to take these details, by the government. Your details will be kept on file for 21 days, and then destroyed.
All tables, menus, salts and peppers are sanitised between customers. As we have to sanitise tables between use, we kindly ask that once shown to a table, you do not move tables.
Our toilets are cleaned and checked regularly, throughout the day, as are the doors and surfaces that people may touch. Hand sanitiser is available at the door, the till and the entrance to the toilet.
All staff have undertaken extra training in regards to Covid 19. Staff have Face masks and Visors available, have to wash their hands every 20 mins, and carry hand sanitiser with them at all times.
This environment is new to the staff, so please be patient and respect both the staff and the systems we have in place.
Please do not visit us if you are showing any signs or symptoms of Covid 19.
